Resources for Faculty and Students

        RESOURCES FOR CLASSES

 Union County Preservation Plan

To assist students in completing their academic research requirements, and to encourage lifelong learning, Information Services and Resources offers a wide array of User Education options across all disciplines.

The range of original and primary sources in Special Collections/University Archives supports research initiatives. Faculty and instructors are welcome to conduct sessions and assign projects based on the rich variety of rare sources available, or request introductory presentations by staff.

We ask that appointments be scheduled two weeks in advance, and that students are prepared according to our Handling Procedures for the Preservation of Valuable Resources. Staff will be available to assist with preservation handling during faculty sessions.

There are numerous examples of resources depicted in Images for Classes (first link at top of this page). These images were created for the advancement of scholarship and curricular objectives, and may be used by faculty and students for classroom activities in accordance with pertinent copyright provisions for educational use.
