Directions:

Take exit 210 off of Interstate 80 for US Rt. 15 South. Turn left at the first traffic light after PA Route 45 onto Moore Avenue. Make the first right onto Dent Drive, and the first possible right off of Dent Drive. The Weis Center will be on the left, and visitor parking on the right.

Physical Plant:

The stage floor is oiled maple, sprung on a three layer basket weave, constructed and finished to ADG guidelines. Nothing may be attached to the floor in any way, and care must be taken in order to avoid damage to the surface.

The stage is surrounded by a permanent acoustical shell, with three sets of double doors on each side providing access to the wings. The clouds may be removed for theatrical performances.

The rigging system consists of 15 fixed speed winch driven line shafts controlled by a Shamrock 5000 computer. Three of the lines are dedicated electrics, one is committed for a cyclorama, and six are committed for masking or clouds, leaving five for company use.

The slate gray Main Curtain and Valance is usually in place for theatrical events and implies a proscenium of 24 feet by 40 feet. There are two sets of black legs and borders available, with a maximum trim of 22 feet. The width of the legs is variable and both legs and borders may be rigged flat or with fullness. One blackout traveler with sewn-in fullness is available as well as a white scrim and a white cyc.

Two private dressing rooms with showers and toilets are available, one of which is fully accessible. Two 14 person community dressing rooms, with showers and toilets are also available.
