General Information
Location
The Sigmund and Claire Weis Center for the Performing Arts is located just off Route 15, one-half mile south of Route 45 in Lewisburg, on the campus of Bucknell University.
Children
Young children are required to hold tickets and must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult, particularly in the balcony area. Out of respect for other ticket holders, babies cannot be admitted to performances.
Access
Patrons requiring information concerning the availability of special accommodations or services for Weis Center Performances should call 570-577-3700. The Weis Center ground floor is fully accessible. The staff will gladly provide assistance and appropriate seat selections. The balcony is not accessible to patrons in wheelchairs.
Headsets
A headphone system of assistance for the hearing-impaired is available upon request at the box office for all Weis Center Performances.
Large print programs
Large print programs are available for most Weis Center Performances.
Arrival for performances
The Weis Center lobby generally opens one hour prior to scheduled events, and seating begins approximately one half hour before the performance. Late arrivals are seated at appropriate intervals in the performance, at the direction and discretion of the artists.

Those who may need to receive calls during a performance should give the box office number (570-577-1000) and then leave their names and seat numbers at the lobby desk.
Courtesies
Some audience members are allergic to perfumes, and it is therefore requested that patrons please refrain from using large quantities when attending Weis Center performances. Also, the Weis Center is an acoustically excellent facility, so please be aware that noise like coughing and talking can be heard on stage and elsewhere in the auditorium as easily as music from the stage carries to the seats. Please remember to turn off electronic devices including cell phones and pagers when enjoying a Weis Center performance. The Weis Center is a smoke-free facility.
