International Student Services
Admitted Students International Student Services (ISS) provides programs and services to support international students in their lives both inside and outside the classroom. The office serves foreign nationals, dual citizens, permanent residents, and U.S. overseas students as they adjust to life at Bucknell, learn more about U.S. culture, and share their home cultures with the Bucknell community. In addition, we welcome U.S. citizens to get involved with our programs and events.
International Student Orientation is held prior to New Student Orientation and is designed to address social and cultural adjustment as well as practical matters like immigration, banking, employment, and health insurance. The program is well established and is a wonderful way to meet other new and returning students, settle in on campus before classes begin, and have fun. ISS is sensitive to the needs of international students with significant experience in the U.S. as well as those who are new to this country. We look forward to welcoming you to the Class of 2012 and getting to know you throughout your four years at Bucknell.
