Foundation Seminars -- Advising
CLA Document
For B.A. students the seminar instructor will be the academic adviser for the first two years; for B.S. students the seminar instructor will serve in an informal advisory capacity, but another adviser in the student's B.S. program will serve as the official adviser for curricular requirements for the major. The seminars will encourage students to reflect on the nature and character of the undergraduate years in relation to life-long learning. The close interaction between students and instructor that the small-seminar format offers should improve advising.
