  • Robert Bathmann (BCSE’09) was awarded a very prestigious annual SMART (Science, Mathematics, And Research for Transformation) Scholarship during the summer of 2007. In 2007 there were a total of 105 award recipients nation-wide that include students from major universities such as Stanford, Washington, USC, Georgia Tech, among others.   • The student chapter of ACM held the 2007 fall picnic on September 13. Many students and faculty members came enjoyed the nice weather, fine food, and mostly conversations with each other. View some pictures.
  • The 2007 version of the Geek Week took place during the week of October 22nd, exciting events included competitions, games, and a invited talk by Professor Joel Henry of University Montana about software development process.
  • The 2007 ACM regional programming contest in Wilkes University, three teams participated, the Team Wombat of Andrew Caniff, Bob Bathmann and Rob Walker won the second place.
