Integrated Design, Manufacturing, and Robotics Laboratory

This educational and research facility closely integrates, both physically and conceptually, the processes associated with design, manufacturing, and robotics. Equipment in the laboratory includes Festo automation components, Light Machines bench-top computer-numerically-controlled milling machines and lathes, an injection molding machine, a manual coordinate-measuring machine, a layered-manufacturing rapid-prototyping machine, Seiko and PUMA robots, and Shuttleworth slip-torque conveyor units.
