Introduction to the Collection

The Construction Collection contains photographs and architectural drawings (i.e., blueprints) used by Civil & Environmental Engineering students at Bucknell. The collection currently contains photos and drawings from all phases of construction of the O’Leary Center. In the future, we imagine materials from additional existing buildings and future construction projects on campus will be added.

Viewing Tools

The collection is viewable through Insight software. Access is currently limited to the Bucknell community because of contractual agreements with architectural firms.

Metadata Schema

The metadata schema used was loosely based on a combination of Dublin Core and locally-created databases.
