Women's track and field wins 5th straight league title

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's women's track and field team won its fifth consecutive Patriot League Championship title on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Annapolis, Md.

With 190 total points, Bucknell was almost 70 points ahead of the second-place finisher, Army (122). Navy finished third with 117.

The Bison received all four of the major awards with head coach Kevin Donner being named the league's Coach of the Year, junior Christa Sawko was named the Track Athlete of the Meet, junior Marjorie Grap received the Field Athlete of the Meet honors, and freshman Kati Dempsey was named the Rookie of the Meet.
