Engineering Computing Support Team

Mission Statement

The Engineering Computing Support Team at Bucknell University advances the use of Engineering related computer and information technologies and pedagogical tools to further the educational mission of the College of Engineering, and to the extent possible, the University community as a whole, through the support of the teaching, learning, laboratory (computing and experimental), scholarship and research activities of faculty, staff and students.

ECST coordinates with Library and Information Technology to provide a reliable infrastructure for computing and electronic information access across the standard computing platforms in the College's computing environment. To facilitate effective and efficient use of computer and information technology, ECST delivers appropriate training, consulting and support services, as well as systems programming, experimental laboratory, applications and courseware development services.

To anticipate and respond to the evolving needs of the campus community, ECST evaluates, implements and promotes promising technologies and pedagogical tools.
