"As a member of the Arts Residential College, my time at Bucknell has been greatly enriched by visual art, creative writing, photography, music, and other mediums of expression.  I have met a community of students who are enthusiastic about their academic studies as well as their interests in the arts.  The Arts College is particularly unique in that it fosters creativity through artistically oriented common hours, trips, and foundation seminar classes.  My experiences in the Arts College have been extraordinary and have truly contributed to my overall success and happiness this year."

"The greatest thing about college has been the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experiences in such a short time.  The Arts Residential College gave me the chance to befriend incredible and diverse people and grow artistically in various directions with them.  Now Bucknell is not only a place for me to grow academically, but also musically and artistically.  Without the Arts Res, I never would have been given the opportunity to perform on stage with a band, see a Broadway show with my friends, or explore interpretive dancing! I was so lucky to be a part of this program!"

"The Arts Residential College made my freshman experience as fun as it was. It was a community of people who had similar interests as I did, people I could form natural friendships with. The common hours gave us opportunities to try arts we might not have otherwise, and there were great trips. Plus, it’s not a secret that all the coolest people at Bucknell are in the Arts Res.”

"Being a part of the Arts Residential College completely changed my experience at Bucknell. My transition to college was facilitated by the support system that was built within the Arts Res. I met so many wonderful people and formed lasting friendships. I looked forward to activities and off-campus trips as a way to spend time with my friends and explore the arts at the same time. I was also able to develop my passion for dance while learning from other talented people. I owe so much to this program and am very excited to be a part of it!"
