Recent Graduates
Brief Bios on Some of Our Recent Graduates from our Program
Our graduate students are productive scholars while at Bucknell, and many go on to professional and academic success in psychology. Our program’s emphasis on research leads many students to complete projects with their advisors (and sometimes with other faculty) that are published in academic journals or presented at professional conferences. Here is a partial list of our recent students and a brief description of scholarly accomplishments at Bucknell and their pursuits after graduating. The advisor’s name is listed after the student’s graduation year.
Michelle Imm (2005, Wade) co-authored conference presentations and published this paper:

Kristin Canavera (2005, Evans) is now a research associate at Boston University where she conducts research on childhood anxiety disorders. While at Bucknell, Kristin presented conference papers and published this paper:

Laura Wray (2004, Daubman) is now in the Ph.D. program at Penn State Univ. in Human Development & Family Studies. While a Bucknell student, Laura presented several conference papers and has a manuscript in progress with Prof. Daubman and another with Prof. Boyatzis.
Amber Leaver (2003, Halpern) has begun a Ph.D. program in cognitive neuroscience at Georgetown Medical School. She co-authored an article, based on her thesis:

Nate Deichert (2002, Ptacek) is working toward his Ph.D. at Kent State University. While at Bucknell, he co-authored conference papers and published a paper with Prof. Flack:

Agnieszka Marcyk. (2001, Halpern) completed her research on cognition and is in a Ph.D. program in the History of Ideas at the Univ. of Pennsylvania.
Jennifer Beere (2000, Shapiro) went on to earn a master’s in applied statistics at Ohio State Univ. Jennifer published two papers with her advisor including:
