LEWISBURG, Pa. - Two days after grabbing the Patriot League title, Bucknell learned it will play the University of Arkansas Razorbacks in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament Friday, March 17, in Dallas.

Tip-off is 12:30 p.m. (E). The game airs on CBS-TV. Check local listings for availability. In addition, the game will be available on the broadband service NCAA March Madness on Demand.

More than 200 fans joined the Bison to watch the CBS-TV Selection Show in the Forum in the Elaine Langone Center Sunday evening. They let go with whoops and cheers when broadcasters announced that No. 9 seeded Bucknell would face No. 8 seeded Arkansas.

John Hardt, director of Athletics and Recreation at Bucknell, summed it up best for the crowd: "We're going dancing in Dallas."

Senior co-captain Charles Lee thanked all the fans for their support throughout the season, while senior co-captain Kevin Bettencourt said he was "really excited" about going back to Dallas and getting back work Monday.

Coach Pat Flannery said the team was ready to go to work and would "start grinding it out" with film and practice Monday. He, too, thanked the fans and said the team was "excited about playing Arkansas."
