2008 - 09 Society & Technology College Student Staff
 | Shafayat Alam, Resident Fellow Hometown: Chittagong, Bangladesh Major: Electrical Engineering Contact: smsa001@bucknell.edu “SOTECH ROCKS!!! We are an amazing bunch of funny and interesting people. Technolgy has become an integral part of lives and Sotech makes you think actively about the influences of those technologies on our society. Being around people with similar kinds of interests, and at the same time getting the opportunity to look at a situation from the various perspectives of people from other residential colleges were the best parts of being in this program. This significantly changed how I evaluate and make judgments. It was a truly AWESOME experience!!!”

 | Alison Esteva-Sanders, Junior Fellow Hometown: Montville, NJ Major: Neuroscience Contact: aees001@bucknell.edu “Being involved in SoTech as a freshman made my transition to college so much easier. Living with other students who share the same interests helped us all open up and feel like a family. Whether we were enduring the long bus ride to Johnstown, Pennsylvania or doing team-building activities at Cowan, the SoTech Residential College is a great place for freshmen to thrive.
If you’re looking for a place to find and connect with other students, Society and Technology is the place! Feel free to e-mail me if you have any question. Hope to see you around campus!”
| | Jen Steinberg, Junior Fellow Hometown: Fleming, NJ Major: Biology Contact: jrs077@bucknell.edu “Being in a Res. College was one of the best decisions I made as an incoming freshman. I got to live with people who shared the same interests I did and a lot of us had the same classes! The Res. College program also gives more opportunities in the future such as alumni housing and RF/JF employment! It also feels good to be a part of something on campus right away!”
