Tuesday was a night of celebration as the history-making men’s basketball team, cheerleaders, and pep band paraded through Lewisburg atop fire trucks to Sojka Pavilion where they were greeted by cheering fans. Coach Pat Flannery spoke about “these special kids and about our special school.” Senior co-captain Kevin Bettencourt said one of the things he’ll remember about his four years at Bucknell will be an orange-filled Sojka and getting “goose-bumps every time I walked in here.” Said senior co-captain Charles Lee: “I feel honored and privileged to wear the Orange and the Blue.” Posted March 21, 2006
