Applying to Bucknell

In selecting students, we look at academic achievement in high school and college, evidence of significant talent or ability, and strong personal qualities of character, leadership, and personality.

In evaluating your application, we focus on the content of the high school and college experience, particularly your grades and recommendations. We are impressed by students who make a genuine contribution to the community through service and sensitivity to others.
