Globalization, Technology and Cultural Change
This course has as its main objective the exploration of the process of globalization and of global restructuring. Part of that process is being fueled by innovations in technology. The course will therefore be examining the extent to which the technological revolution is facilitating the process of globalization. This course will also aim at assessing the contribution of the cultural dimension to the process of global change. It is the objective of this course to provide students with a some understanding of the nature, causes, and consequences of the process of globalization as we move into the 21st Century.
