Finding Images - Recommended Sources for Digital Images on the Web
A resource and tip sharing document developed for undergraduate presentations
Art History is taught almost exclusively using digital images while Studio Arts classes are beginning to rely more on instuctional media. To support the instruction and research needs of the department, we rely on the BAIRD database, an ACCESS database of over 22,000 images. New images are made available almost daily as requests from faculty and students are added, as well as images chosen by the Visual Resources Curator.
Student Employment
In addition to the Visual Resources Curator, the Visual Resource Center relies on student assistants to run smoothly. If you are a work study student, or have an interest in an art-related job on campus, please contact Amy Golder-Cooper to discuss a job in the VRC during the school year or during the summer. Call extension 73175 for more information.
