Mission of the Board of Directors

The mission of the Bucknell Alumni Association Board of Directors is to be an active and effective advocate for alumni in order to promote and enhance Bucknell University.

The goals to effectively achieve this advocacy are as follows: 

• Provide the leadership to encourage alumni as individuals and groups to assume responsibility for supporting and strengthening the University.

• Provide services and programs beneficial to individual alumni and alumni groups which foster and promote allegiance to the University and continue to develop new programs to achieve this goal.

• Foster communications to and from alumni by disseminating information about the University and the Association and provide feedback to administration, faculty and Board of Trustees. 

• Work closely with Board of Trustees and the administration of the University to achieve unity of purpose and activity and, through its officers, make recommendations to the Board of Trustees concerning matters essential to the interests of concerns of alumni.
