Volunteering Opportunities
- Parents Association – Be an ambassador for Bucknell in your community.
- Parents Association Board of Directors – Members manage the Parents Association and are selected by the Executive Committee of the board.
- Parent Fund Volunteer – Helps to solicit funds to enhance the Bucknell experience for all students. More than $1 million was raised last year.
The Career Development Center's CareerConnections program offers six great opportunities for both parents and alumni to volunteer.
- CareerNet – Talk to students about their careers.
- Career Education Program – Serve as a panelist or speaker to facilitate job searches and career conservations.
- Career Networking Program – Participate in industry-focused networking programs.
- Public Interest Program – Matches talented Bucknellians to nonprofit organizations for fellowships and summer internship experiences.
- Externships – Sponsor short-term career shadowing experiences for Bucknell sophomores.
- Internships and Full-time Opportunities – Offer internship and job opportunities to Bucknell students.
