Cell biology of male reproduction with a focus on Sertoli - spermatogenic cell interactions. Investigations include dolichol metabolism, GPI-linked proteins, phospholipase A2 activity, and tight junction formation.

Recent Activities
Primary activities center around my area of speciality, cell biology, the teaching of courses, supervising student research in that area, and also chairing the Cell Biology and Biochemistry Program. Interest in international science education resulted in a Fullbright Senior Lectureship in India where I taught cell biology at Stella Maris College in Madras. Continued interest in science pedagogy have included the recent development of the on-line course, Teaching of the Biology Sciences. University service involements currently include membership on numerous committes relating both to academic affairs and student life.
