Research Interests
Immunobiology, immune function. Auto-immune disease: lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis. Role of fat cells in the activity of immune function; measuring insulin-like growth hormones in lemurs during seasonal growth. Lectin binding in immune situations. Techniques in research include: ELISA, gel electrophoresis, western blots, dot blots, biotin labeling, fluorescent labeling, cell culture (adipocytes and lymphocytes) and localized hemolysis in gel.
