Winner of numerous awards and grants including Bucknell University's Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching and an NEA Award for Arts Commentary and Perspectives on the Arts. Research in applications of brain science to the study and performance of music with papers and presentations at major scientific and music conferences throughout the US and in China and Greece.
