In August, 2006 Bucknell hosted its first Solar Scholars workshop resulting in the installation of a 2.5 kilowatt solar array, which now serves as a power source for the Bucknell University Environmental Center. In April of 2007 two more arrays, with a combined capacity of 3.2 kW, were installed at the Bucknell Mods.

Free solar energy workshops are being offered to the general public on 2/16, 3/1, and 4/5/08. Please follow this link for more information.
