Assistant or Associate Professor Position Available

Bucknell University invites applications for several tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor ranks in Electrical Engineering to begin August 2008.

 

We seek candidates who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship and who have the ability to involve undergraduates successfully in research.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field and preferably a BS from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.  The areas of primary interest are digital design, computer engineering, power systems, and electromagnetics (including RF/microwave design), although highly qualified applicants in other areas will be considered.  Ability and interest in supervising senior design projects and/or developing courses for non-EE majors are very desirable.  Candidates with an interest in and potential for teaching and interacting effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are particularly encouraged to apply.  The Electrical Engineering department presently has eleven tenure-track faculty positions.
