September- 2005: University of Minnesota Chemistry Professor Thomas Hoye (Bucknell BS/MS Chemistry, 1972) has isolated and solved the structure of an important sea lamprey pheromone.
August - 2005 Professors Rovnyak (CHEM), Stockland, (CHEM), Strein (CHEM), Maneval (CHEM ENG), and Cunningham (PHYS), awarded $475k from the national science foundation to acquire a high field nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer for research on macromolecules.
