ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS MAY APPLY, INCLUDING MEMBERS OF 2017 CLASS.
1 or 2 Course Credits
1) All students are required to take the following one full credit Bucknell summer course,
Grass Roots Development (Geog 237)
Co-Taught by Prof. Paul Susman, Geography Dept. & Prof. Emek Uçarer, International Relations Dept.
2) Students may opt to sign up for a second full credit course in addition to the required course.
Independent Study course (Geog 320).
Based in Nueva Vida at the Center for Development in Central America, the Non-Governmental Organization of the Jubilee House Community, Inc. our hosts for this program as well as the Bucknell Brigade, the group will focus on development problems and how local communities struggle to define and achieve their own goals.
