Important Notes:

Admission to the Bucknell in Northern Ireland Program is on a rolling basis; therefore, the sooner you complete the application process, the more likely you are to be admitted. You are encouraged to apply as early as possible. The program is capped at 25 students.

Students who will be spending the spring semester 2010 abroad are eligible to apply for the Program, but must have completed the application process by the deadline.

Dates and costs are subject to change.
Admission criteria:

Evidence in the application and during the interview of interest and motivation to pursue studies in areas such as social conflict and resolution, nonprofit community organizations, identity development, and psychological trauma.

Recommendations from academic advisors, professors, and administrators and a history of good conduct and citizenship.

Roughly equal gender distribution.

Academic major.

General application forms (Application, Professor's Recommendation 1 & 2, Academic Advisor's Approval; the academic advisor may provide one of the two required recommendations.)
Supplementary Application forms:
- Insurance/liability waiver form. The health form and waiver can be turned in after admission to the program.
