Homecoming 2006 features expanded programs
LEWISBURG, Pa. — Expanded programming and plenty of fun entertainment, 'Ray Bucknell spirit, and opportunities to renew and form new friendships are highlighting Bucknell's Oct. 6-8 Homecoming 2006 celebration.
Themed Yesterday. Tomorrow. Now., Homecoming 2006 will also mark a first. President Brian C. Mitchell will deliver for the first time a special update on University developments and plans. The address is scheduled for Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in the Elaine Langone Center's Forum.
"This will be a Homecoming like you've never experienced," said Sam Lundquist, vice president for development and alumni relations. "It will be a University-wide celebration. Join us as we celebrate Bucknell's rich history while enjoying all that Bucknell has to offer today."
Jim Warren, director of the alumni relations, said Homecoming 2006 programming has been expanded with more reasons than ever to return to the Bucknell campus this year. "All alumni are invited back to enjoy a weekend tradition and new events."
