Samek Art Gallery Hosts Annual Student Show

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University will host the Annual Student Show April 15 through May 3.
According to Dan Mills, curator of the Gallery, "TheAnnual Student Show presents fine works of art by Bucknell students in all levels of Studio Art classes. This is always one of the most exciting and well attended exhibitions of the academic year."
The exhibit, funded in part by the Bucknell Association for the Arts, includes works in media including design, drawing, multi-media and installation art, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, plus mixed media and interdisciplinary projects.
An opening reception will be held Friday, April 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Gallery. The reception and the exhibit are open to the public without charge.
Admission to the Samek Art Gallery, located on the third floor of the Elaine Langone Center, is free.
Gallery hours are weekdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 1 to 4 p.m.
The Gallery also will be open Saturday, April 30, from 1 to 6 p.m. as part of the Inaugural weekend activities.
