Benion named NACS trustee

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Vicki Morris Benion, director of the Bucknell University Bookstore, has been named a trustee on the board of the National Association of College Stores (NACS). NACS is the professional trade association representing the more than $11 billion higher education retailing industry.
As a trustee, Benion will help provide governance for the association's more than 4,000 members and will assist the organization in its mission of enhancing college stores through education, advocacy and the utilization of new technologies.
An active member of NACS and a Certified Collegiate Retailer, Benion has served on a number of committees including certification, CAMEX host, nominating, member relations and the state/regional committee. Benion also is an active member and past president of the Middle Atlantic College Stores Association.
Headquartered in Oberlin, Ohio, NACS represents more than 3,300 collegiate retailers and about 1,200 associate members who supply books and other products to college stores. NACS member stores daily serve the majority of America's 15.8 million college students while supporting the academic missions of higher education institutions everywhere.
