During the January winter break, a cooperative effort between Bucknell University, Geisinger Medical Center, Evangelical Community Hospital, The Rothman Institute, and Susquehanna Health allows up to 20 students to observe at the hospitals for 8 - 10 days. This intensive experience introduces Bucknell students to the health care clinical education environment experienced by most medical students and residents. This experience is designed for students considering medicine as a career. Participants have the opportunity to interact with medical students, residents and physician faculty to observe and discuss careers in medicine.
