Chrysalis 2008

Bucknell University’s 10^th annual CHRYSALIS featuring KC & The Sunshine Band and the Village People Friday, April 25, 9pm – 1am at Gerhard Fieldhouse. Doors open at 8:30pm for this formal/semi-formal event. Tickets are $20 students, $30 others.

ACE Wiffle ball tournament

Come to the intramural fields this Saturday, April 26, at 2pm for the Wiffle Ball Tournament. Sign up in teams of four in the CAP Center. Cash prizes of $200, $125, $75.

9:30 pm – OHLAS hosts “Havana Nights” Dance Party. Come and enjoy lots of good food and music. There will also be a live DJ. Don’t miss this night of dancing to the best songs of hip-hop, reggae, reggaeton, salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia and much more.

theatre showcase performance

The Department of Theatre and Dance will present the Spring Dance Concert at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts on April 25 and 26 at 8pm. Join us for a dynamic concert filled with a mix of jazz, ballet, and modern dance featuring internationally renowned guest artist, Michael Foley, professor of the University of South Florida, who will create a new modern work for the dancers. Other highlights include a classical modern work restaged by Kelly Knox, and an original contemporary ballet by our program’s visiting professor. Bucknell alumna, Kristy Kuhn ’99, returns to choreograph a fusion piece for the graduating seniors. Original student choreography will be presented by Sara J. Fenstermacher, Katie Culver, and Yabei Chen. Admission is $8/$6 for students.
