158th Commencement - Class of 2008
May 16 - 18, 2008Commencement - Sunday, May 18 Commencement, to be held outside on the Academic Quadrangle at 10 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. In case of rain, Commencement will be held in the Gerhard Fieldhouse. 
Commencement Speaker Mr. Charles Simic, 15th Poet Laureate of the United States, will address the Class of 2008, President Brian C. Mitchell announced. Also announced: Mr. Philip Roth '54, whose novels have earned him worldwide acclaim and honors, including the Pulitzer Prize, the National Medal of Arts, and the National Book Award, has agreed to attend Bucknell's 158th Commencement ceremony on May 18 and receive the Stephen W. Taylor Medal.
