Mission Statement
The Career Development Center at Bucknell contributes to the university’s commitment to preparing productive citizens for our global community by educating Bucknellians in the art of integrating an individual’s career goals with their varied academic and life experiences. By providing meaningful, diverse learning experiences, quality resources and career expertise, we encourage students and alumni in developing self-understanding and self-sufficiency as they learn the process of making informed and thoughtful decisions.
Services and Programs
We are a comprehensive career center offering services and programs (PDF) that are relevant to undergraduate and graduate students of the university, as well as alumni of the university. Assistance is available for such issues such as: self-assessment and career decision-making, the development of job search tools, preparing for interviews, resources for conducting employment and graduate school research and internship and full-time employment leads. A wide variety of counseling and advising (PDF) options are available to students throughout each semester.
We are willing to come to your residence hall, student organization, athletic team, etc. to present career-related programming. See the available programs we have to offer and how you can request a workshop for your student group today!
