Margaret L. Bryan
Director of Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics A member of the Bucknell faculty for 36 years, Peg Bryan was the first director of women’s intercollegiate athletics at the University. Bryan played a leading role in the establishment of Bucknell’s women’s intercollegiate varsity athletics program in 1974, and prior to that was active in all phases of women’s intercollegiate competition. In addition, she was active in the Eastern Association for Physical Education of College Women, and in 1981 received the Bison Club Award for contributions to Bucknell’s athletic program.
