Stephen W. Baird ’72

The 1971 MAC fall tennis champion, Baird was an Eastern singles semi-finalist and doubles finalist in 1972 and had a career 38-1 singles record. He was also 31-2 in doubles for a near-spotless combined career record of 69-3. Baird served as tennis co-captain in 1971-72. Past president of the American Platform Tennis Association, he is a five-time national champion in the sport. (Bucknell Hall of Fame Class of 1983)
