Ways to Connect with Alumni and B-Link
Bucknell offers 2 unique ways for students to connect directly with Alumni
1.
Bucknell's new and exclusive professional and social networking site for alumni and, now, students. It provides the ability to connect with friends and network with fellow Bucknellians. B-link is easy to access and a great source of information; you can use it to connect in many different ways based on academic, industry/profession, extracurricular interests, as well as geographic regions and class years.
Student Access and Access Events:
B-Link access will be given based on 2 tiers, with access levels differing based on "underclass" or "senior" status; senior access includes the Alumni Directory.
- Underclass Access: Attend 1 Career Development Center desginated Access Event
- Senior Access: Early Access: Online Quiz; Automatic Access: 2nd semester
2. Bison Connect
Bucknell's alumni and parent career resource databas which provides students with "human" resources to help learn about career paths, organizations and/or specific industries.
BisonConnect is available on myBucknell on the myCareerCenter tab.
We recommend that you research the individual's organization if you are unsure of what their line of work is before contacting the alum or parent. If you are unsure about how to proceed, review Informational Interviewing/Networking or stop by the CDC and talk to us about how to best connect.
