Bucknell Sophomore Externship Program

Attention Class of 2011

Ever want to see and experience what a professional does every day?

A Bucknell externship consists of two consecutive days shadowing a sponsor. Externship sponsors are Bucknell alums, parents or employers/friends of the university who are willing to bring students into their workplaces to observe and gain a better understanding of both what they do on a daily basis and the culture in which they work.

Looking to make connections that may assist you in obtaining a summer internship or learning about a new field?

Externships are for sophomores only and are in a wide variety of career and industry areas throughout the country. Externships take place over winter break of a student's sophomore year.

How do I get started?

Fall Semester 2008:

o Attend one mandatory Externship Orientation Session (you do not have to attend another session in the fall if you attended a session during Spring 2008)
