Arda Bowser ’23

Football

An All-East and All-American fullback, Bowser was captain of the 1921 Bucknell football team and one of the great kickers in the school’s history. He was a member of the 1922 Canton Bulldogs, which was the first-ever NFL championship team. He was the first NFL player to use the kicking tee. (Bucknell Hall of Fame Class of 1979)
