Boxing

The Eastern Intercollegiate Conference boxing champion at 115 pounds in 1936 and 125 pounds in 1938, Steve Stephanou was also on the Bucknell team that won the Eastern Intercollegiate Conference championship in 1937. Also a football letterman in 1937, he later refereed boxing and was a longtime official and president of regional football and basketball officials associations. (Bucknell Hall of Fame Class of 1991)
