Edward H. Halicki ’29

Football, Basketball, Baseball

An outstanding football, basketball and baseball player, Ed Halicki signed professionally with baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals and football’s Frankford Yellowjackets. He captained the 1928 football team and was All-East honorable mention. Halicki led Bucknell to victories over Penn State and Villanova in football as a junior and scored the only touchdown in a 6-0 victory over Penn State in his senior year. He went on to become a school teacher in the Wilkes-Barre, Pa., area. (Bucknell Hall of Fame Class of 1983)
