Bucknell sponsored events are held both on and off campus and are only offered to Bucknell students. Many of these events provide the opportunity for students to network with alumni, parents, friends of the univeristy in a exclusive Bucknell-only setting.

ON CAMPUS:

  • Employer Expo - Fall Semester (September)
    The annual Employer Expo kicks off our recruiting season and offers a wonderful opportunity for Bucknell students to meet with employers and learn about possible career and internship opportunities. On average over 550 students and 100 employers participate in this event. Registration information and questions can be directed to careerfairs@bucknell.edu.

  • Professional & Graduate School Fairs - Fall Semester (October)
    Our annual graduate school event, held on campus each fall, attracts nearly 100 admissions representatives from various professional and graduate school programs across the country! Typically, we have one fair that encompasses all graduate, law, and health fields. Due to scheduling issues with other nearby school fairs we have decided to split our annual fair into two days.

  • Engineering Career Network Event -- Spring Semester (February)
    The Bucknell Engineering Alumni Association, CDC, and the College of Engineering co-host the annual engineering alumni/student career networking event. All Bucknell engineering students are welcome. The goal of this program is to provide students with information about a variety of career fields so that they are able to make better decisions about which career path to choose.

OFF CAMPUS:

  • Bucknellians in Government, Washington D.C -- Summer (June)
    Join us for this networking event which will allow students and recent graduates to explore the wide variety of opportunities the government has to offer. Alumni are encouraged to get involved and share their own stories and career paths. Co-organized by the: CDC, BPIP and generously supported by alumna Katie Malague'94.   • NYC Finance Summit, New York, NY --Fall Semester (October)
    The goal of this career fair is to bring interested Bucknell students to NYC to meet with professionals who work in the many different areas of the finance industry and can offer current hands-on perspectives to them. Participants representing organizations will be stationed at tables around the room. Students will be able to approach them to learn about what they do, as well as, explore any internship and/or full time opportunities they may have available within their organizations.
  • Communication & Arts Career Fair, New York, NY -- Spring Semester (February)
    This event offers students an environment to network with alumni and parent representatives of various types of communications and arts organizations about their career paths, their organizations and any volunteer, internship and full-time positions they presently have or plan to have available in the future. Transportation available from campus.
  • Washington D.C. Career Fair, Washington, D.C --Spring Semester (March)
    This event offers students an environment to network with alumni and parent representatives from the Government, Nonprofit & Public affairs worlds about their career paths, their organizations and any volunteer, internship and full-time positions they presently have or plan to have available in the future. Transportation available from campus.
