By Jeremy O'Sullivan Contributing WriterIn preparation for an election that could turn the control of the U.S. House of Representatives to the Democrats, incumbent Republican Don Sherwood and Democratic opponent Chris Carney faced-off in a debate for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District on Wednesday evening at the University’s packed Trout Auditorium. Sherwood opened the debate by boasting his flawless conservative voting record of lowering taxes, supporting pro-life legislation, and his continued fight for benefits for veterans. Carney, in his opening speech, deviated from focusing on typical controversial political issues and focused on values.(Read full article)
