LWV, International Relations Program Sponsor Discussion

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The League of Women Voters of the Lewisburg area and the international relations program at Bucknell University will sponsor a discussion Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Forum of the Elaine Langone Center at Bucknell.
The discussion, "World Peace and Global Prosperity," will be hosted by Jacqueline Sallade, psychologist, and include presentations by the following:
Kerry Walters, William Bittinger Professor of Philosophy at Gettysburg College, who will discuss `Making Peace':
Tony Massoud, chair of the political science department at Bucknell, who will discuss `The Middle East':
Richard Waller, associate professor of history and international relations at Bucknell, who will discuss `War and Poverty in Africa'"
and John Olin, Johns Hopkins University research associate, who will discuss `Social Unrest, Poverty and the HIV/AIDS Epidemic in the Congo.'
The discussion, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session, is open to the public without charge.
