Bucknell Hosts "Dracula: The Renfield Diaries"

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell Dance Company will present its first full-length dance production, "Dracula: The Renfield Diaries," in collaboration with the Bucknell University department of theatre and dance.

Co-directed by Er-Dong Hu and Kelly Knox, the production will be performed Dec. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. in the Harvey Powers Theatre, located in Coleman Hall, at Bucknell.

"This thematic exploration of Bram Stoker's `Dracula' features the innovative contributions of our faculty professional designers in costume, lighting and scenography," according to Hu, associate professor of dance at Bucknell.

"This dance narrative includes the talents of creative production assistant and Bucknell graduate Victoria Willers, award-winning filmmakers Todd Bieber and Bucknell senior Juliana Brafa, as well as student choreographers Janan Hatem, Kara Lewis and Lyn Wheeler," he said.
