LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will present a 12-session Entrepreneurs Workshop beginning Sept. 9.

The workshop, which will be held from noon to 3 p.m. each Thursday Sept. 9 through Nov. 18 in Lewisburg, is designed to encourage business start-ups and expansion.

The course focuses on teaching the art of better business practices while producing a comprehensive business plan to guide business expansion decisions and activities.

The cost for this course is $150, which includes comprehensive text/workbooks, all class handouts and refreshments. Course graduates will receive a certificate of participation or completion.

Topics include: introduction, overview and entrepreneurship; planning and research: entrepreneurial essentials; organizational matters; marketing `behind the scenes;' marketing `on stage' strategies and tactics; financial overview; managing your money; understanding and using your financial statement; financing your business; the deal-making process; and your business future.
