How do I get an Ingeniux account? |

Accounts are created by Web Development on an as needed basis. If you need one, tell us. We'll arrange for training and create your account.

Can I use any browser to access Ingeniux? |
|
You can run Ingeniux 6.0 using Internet Explorer (versions 6, 7, and 8), Firefox (versions 2 and 3), and Safari (version 3). Although other browsers may work, these versions are “officially supported”. |

Can I use my Mac? |
|
|
Yes. Ingeniux 6.0 is web based and can be accessed by PCs and Macintosh computers via the browsers listed above. |

I can't get beyond the login screen. I type in my user name and password, but I get a message saying, “The supplied user name or password was invalid. Please try again.” |

Make sure you are entering your myBucknell username with your myBucknell password. In previous versions of Ingeniux, you had to enter bucknell\ or your "unfriendly" email address. This is no longer necessary. (For a screen shot, see First Time Logging In to the Ingeniux WCM.) |

My page is assigned to me, but I can't edit anything. What do I do? |
|
|
Does your "Advance" button offer "Publish to website" as your only option? If so, go ahead and publish your page, then Advance the page to "Edit Page". (Note: Make sure you are also on the "Edit" tab. For more detailed information about working with your pages, see Editing an Existing Page.)

Where is the Edit Page/Publish to Website button? |
|
|
This button is located in your main tool bar where is says “Advance”. Click on the Advance button to move your page from edit through publish. . (See Publishing Your Page.) |

Where is the Upload button? |
|
|
This button now says “Assets”. Click on the Assets button to upload documents or images to Ingeniux. Remember to upload from your desktop or your netspace Public space. Do not try to upload files from a shared drive. (See Adding an Image.)

Are there training materials online? |
|
|
Yes. The Web Content Management System “Help” pages have been updated with Ingeniux 6.0 information and screen shots. (See Using the Ingeniux Web Content Management System.)

Where can I get advice about best practices to use when working in the Ingeniux WCM? |
|
|
See Best Practices which details best practices for key areas like page names, file names, image size, copying and pasting from Word, writing for the web, and completing required fields such as title, description and keywords.
