2007 Hurricane Katrina Recovery Team    

Bucknell Katrina Recovery Team Takes 3rd Trip to Gulf Coast Region.

Bucknell sent 26 volunteers to New Orleans for its 3rd trip to the hurricane ravaged area. Students, staff and faculty worked with the New Orleans chapter of Habitat for Humanity in St. Bernard Parish and stayed at their Camp Hope facility.

While the 2006 trip concentrated on gutting houses, this trip offered the opportunity to help build homes in St. Bernard Parish.
