Credit for Summer Chemistry Courses Off Campus

To obtain credit for chemistry course/s that you plan to take at another institution over the summer it is critical to obtain prior approval for credit for this course.

Please download and fill out the two forms below before taking the course and as far in advance as possible. Submit both to the Chemistry Department.

Be sure to discuss any plans for summer coursework off campus with your academic advisor well in advance.

Undergraduate Research

Students can get involved in research projects as early as their first year at Bucknell. Each summer, 25 to 30 chemistry students are engaged in research full time for a 10-week period. This provides time for close cooperation with a faculty mentor on the student’s personal project. Recent projects include:
